Mumio is a natural discharge created in some of the mountain massifs. It is recognized by it’s popular names: “Miracle Balm”, “Mountain Blood” or “Rock Juice”. Mumio is a product which is formed in the process of natural changes appearing in nature. It’s emitted from rocks of certain mountain massifs, occurs in high altitudes in deep caverns, caves in the form of stalactites, icicle clusters etc. You can find it in high mountains of Iran and Arabia, the Himalayas, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Mongolia, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Kazakhstan, China, Siberia, Altai, Albania, Antarctica. Mumio is the most active from the known biostimulators, many times more effective from the knows ginseng root. Primarily it is a factor which definitely speeds up the regeneration of different body sells. It settles in the form of rocky deposits in hardly accessible caves and mountain rifts at an altitude of 3000-5000 m above sea level. The use of Mumio is recommended by the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tibetan Medicine.
ARYSTOTELES recommended Mumio for headaches, a "phlegmatic character", chills, facial nerve paralysis, epilepsy. These famous physicians of the ancient Arab world - Abu Ali ibn Sina (AWICENA), Abu Rajchan Muchammad ibn Achmed al-Beruni and others discussed ways of extracting, purifying and applying mumio in the treatment of fractures, dislocations, poisoning, Heine-Medina disease, migraines, gastric ulcer digestive and bladder, tuberculosis, etc.
Contemporary scientific research conducted in leading scientific institutes of the USA, India and Russia showed that the mumio also has an extremely wide range of activities, as it not only regenerates damaged tissues, but also perfectly stimulates the defense system, regulates metabolism, inhibits the development of cancerous tissue (Aura, no. 448, 588, 688 - Uzbek Academy of Sciences), increases the bioelectric activity of the heart, accelerates wound healing and bone coalescence after fractures, in the case of poisoning stimulates the excretion of toxins from the body, stimulates brain functions, works extremely effectively against pain, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal, prevents blood vessels from calcifying and dilates them, preventing blood clots and infarcts, regulates blood pressure, stabilizes body temperature and is even a reliable remedy for stomach problems, hair loss or diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
In recent years, intensive studies of mumio activities have been carried out - eg at the Leningrad Institute of Pharmacy, Institute of Organic Chemistry, Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan (ie at the place where the mumio is occurring).
